FRODO: Online Discussion and Activism

FRODO (Front Range Objectivism Discussion Online) is a fairly low-volume, partly moderated e-mail list, mostly for conversation between the Objectivists active in Front Range Objectivism. Posts sharing noteworthy news and links, including opportunities for activism, are most welcome. Debate is discouraged, as such discussions are better done in person, whether at FROST Supper Talks, FROLIC Sunday Dinners, FROG Study Groups, or Atlas Shrugged Reading Groups.

Anyone is welcome to join FRODO, but only Objectivists active in Front Range Objectivism study groups may post to the list unmoderated. Others will be subject to moderation, mostly to prevent tedious debates with libertarians and others hostile to the principles of Objectivism.

Join the FRODO List

Join the FRODO e-mail list on Google Groups for friendly discussion, sharing of values, and alerts to activism opportunities. You will generally receive one to three e-mails per day.

You can subscribe to the list (or manage your subscription) via this web form. To do so, you must be logged in to your Google Account. (If you don't have a Google Account, you can create create an account for free.) Click here for information on managing your FRO subscriptions on Google Groups.

Please note that if you subscribe to the FRODO list, you must also subscribe to the FROST list. (The FROST e-mail list is the main announcement list for Front Range Objectivism.)

Standards of Conduct

Posts to the FRODO e-mail list should be polite and friendly. Attacks on Ayn Rand, Objectivist intellectuals, or FRO members are not acceptable.

People who prove disruptive to the purpose of FRODO will be removed from the group.
